Welcome to Hotel Richard’s newest addition to the family of Richard Motel.
Located just one block from our main motel in Hollywood, Florida. Richard’s Hotel has become the newest member of our family accommodation December 31, 2011.
A Richard’s Hotel, we specialize in short stays. It is ideal for singles or couples who are in Hollywood for a few days or weeks and convenient for cruise passengers.
Richard’s Hotel has 35 units, classic art deco building with 2 floors with a sparkling clear pool, barbecue, serene relaxation area and terrace, offering satellite TV with HBO and WiFi internet.
In our semi-furnished and equipped studios rooms you will feel comfortable.
Laundry and drinks machines are also available.
A beautiful property in a neighborhood surrounded by restaurants, grocery stores located in the heart of Hollywood.

General safety information:
While you are enjoying your stay at Richard’s Motel in the tropical climate and the warm weather we want you to feel “right at home” while you are our guest. Despite the attention that our staff devotes to our guests, to ensure their security and safety, our hotel is located on Federal Highway (US1) which is a very busy street that runs through the entire state of Florida. Federal Highway is the central point of our “relaxation destination, however, we need to be aware of our surroundings during the day and night. This includes keeping your hotel room door locked at all times, making sure all valuables are hidden away and not brought with you to the pool and patio areas, locking all windows, using the top lock, when you leave your room for any period of time, and not opening your hotel room door for anyone that you do not know, unless they have clearly identified themselves to you.
In-Room Safes:
To ensure the safety of our guests and their valuables, we have installed in-room safes in most of our units. We are awaiting the arrival of additional boxes to ensure that all units contain an in-room safe Their use throughout your stay, in addition to the efforts of our staff to ensure the safety of our guests, these in-room safes will help to ensure that your valuables are safe and your stay with us is most relaxing and enjoyable.
Regarding parking, we have installed proper lighting and video monitoring, however, in order to avoid any issues, please always lock your car doors and do not leave any valuables in your vehicle in plain sight. Please note: The Fire Department and Police Department are less than a mile away.
We are making every effort to keep the premises and our guests safe, as they enjoy their stay with us. Our professional staff (day-night) is continuously dedicated to your safety and will act quickly if an issue should occur. Cleaning Policy
You pay the daily rate:

*A big service/clean is provided once a week only with change of linen. Towels, toilet paper and small bar soap will be provided only upon demand between (9am and 4pm). Daily room inspection might be performed and the air conditioning must and will be turned off when no one is inside the room.
If needed, a small broom, mop and basic cleaning supplies will be provided on demand.
*TV IN FRENCH / Alternative (temporary) service offered
Management’s desire is to continue to offer its Quebec customers television service in French. Efforts are being increased in this direction, but the
technology no longer meets expectations, and the results are reflected in large variations in reception. In a word, the different
French channels may work intermittently or simply may not be tuned in all the time.
It is important to remember that under these conditions, management cannot be held responsible for variations and/or interruptions of the French channels. We
We ask our Quebec customers for their indulgence in the face of this phenomenon.
What matters to us is doing the best we can under the circumstances and putting in the maximum effort possible.
French speakers from Quebec come to Florida first of all for the climate, the sun, the beach, the activities, the excursions, so much the better if it is “partially” possible to watch some programs.
IF INTERRUPTED
In the event of an interruption or shutdown of one or more channels, you can notify us (with RESPECT), and we will see to what is necessary to put the channels back into operation. Our hopes are based on advances in technology that will one day allow you, dear customers, to use your smartphones and make you independent in accessing the content that will be broadcast in your rooms (& apartments), just like the Most of our American customers now do, who simply broadcast (in “mirroring”) their phone into the televisions in each unit.
The best way to ensure that you watch your Quebec programs on a delayed basis is to check with your Quebec cable distributor BEFORE your arrival to find out how to view Tou.tv and others from around the world on your tablet.
